DOMINO SPECTRUM
A logo for a world: Domino is first and foremost the pseudonym Marion used for nearly 14 years to publish her creations: Marion’Domino. This refers to the film (Domino, Tony Scott, 2005), directed by Tony Scott. Any resemblance to the main character is purely coincidental. Today, it is the name of the universe.
He poses a question: What kind of world would have emerged from the Industrial Revolution if it had been based on a philosophy of symbiosis with nature?
Marion suggests that we would have developed technologies based on wood, as well as machines and modes of transportation that mimic wildlife and are designed to blend in with it.
Through this body of work, the artist explores themes such as hope, quiet strength, love, and solidarity.

What are the design steps?
The creation of Domino Spectrum began as a series of research projects focused on the ocean floor and its legends. The “MerMay” Challenge played a major role in bringing this underwater world to life.

Marion Guillemet
Painter
Marion has been developing her artistic world (Domino Spectrum) for nearly eight years, following the completion of her degree in decorative painting. Her roots in Finistère have shaped her fascination with the myth of the Isle of Ys—a Celtic Atlantis. Her love of wood is equally significant in the creation of her artistic world: as a child, she would collect ropes washed up on the beach, clean them, and use them to build her own tree-climbing courses. The combination of these elements forms the essence of this unique artistic vision.
